OK, Bag Monster is a moronic name, but Monster has become a catch-all phrase for "Hey, this will help you do something" This section will help you find the bags you're looking for (like you're really looking for them). Leaving everything blank will retrieve a list of all bags, however that may cause the page to load slowly.

Blitzkrieg

Approximate Vintage: 2008
Received From: Robert Hauschild
Print or Image Color: Red Sticker
Background / Bag Color: White
This bag was distributed at the showing of Blitzkrieg at the 99 seat Pioneer Theater in New York City, that closed Friday, Nov. 7th, 2008. I don't think for one moment that distributing barf bags was any sort of desperate attempt to stave off closure, oh no no no.

Blood Circus

Approximate Vintage: 1985
Received From: Mary Neeley
Print or Image Color: Black
Background / Bag Color: Tan
This item is an Official Blood Circus Scream Bag featuring new THUNDERVISION™ that will shatter your seats! The film also featured 3D sound SANTOPHONICS™ (whatever the hell that is).

The coolest thing about this bag is the Free Diamond Ring Coupon which states, "Return this coupon along with your movie stub plus $1.00. NATURAL DIAMOND NOT COUNTERFEIT". To that I wonder wtf?

Blood Feast

Approximate Vintage: 1982
Received From: George Larson
Print or Image Color: Red
Background / Bag Color: White
Whereas other horror flick bags claim they are rated V for Violence, this movie is rated T for Terrifying. Odd distinction. Cool fanged goatee guy hovers over muscular woman in slinky dress. This bag comes with a Philadelphia mailing address although I couldn't possibly tell you why.

Mark Monastyrski, an expert in the movie barf bag genre elucidates, "Blood Feast was released in 1963 and is widely regarded as the first "Splatter Film." Like "Cannibal Ferox," "BF" was banned in the UK under the so-called "Video Nasties Act" of the early '80s. Movies Unlimited, the source of the PA address, is a fantastic film store that has just about everything in print. Check out their website at moviesunlimited.com; someone there might be able to tell you about the Blood Feast bag. [Bags might have been handed out at BF's original theatrical run, but I still need to read up on it.]"

Mark adds, "According to an interview in The Onion, barf bags were part of the promotions for the original 1963 release of "Blood Feast." The article mentions an original bag selling for $25 dollars.

I can't really tell you much about this bag. It sure looks like a throwback, but I'm not so sure. Although some water got on the bag before I ever got to it, and the blood "ran", the bag feels new. Plus, the logo looks a lot like the logo that currently graces the Starlight's Web Site. Anyway, I've never seen another bag like it. So even though it looks retro, I'm not sure. Can you help? For what it's worth, the Drive-In is located at 2000 Moreland Ave SE in Atlanta.

Blue Panorama

Approximate Vintage: 2001
Received From: Matthias Koch
Print or Image Color: White, Blue, Blue, & Blue
Background / Bag Color: Blue
Oh my God! With 444 wickets, this bag will allow you to play the croquet game to end all croquet games!!

Blue Panorama

Received From: Federico Mandrile
Print or Image Color: Blue
Background / Bag Color: White Plastic
This Italian bag is made out of High Density Polyethyline

Blue Panorama

Print or Image Color: Blue
Background / Bag Color: White Plastic
Identical to the other Blue Panorama plastic bag except this bag is benevolent and helps people in need. How? Here's what it says

The production of this small bag allows Blu Panorama to support Effata Social Cooperative of the Franciscan Friars in Busto Arsizio, Italy. Effata gives disabled people the opportunity of a job.

So by collecting this bag, I'm helping out the disabled somehow.

Blue Scandinavia

Approximate Vintage: 1998
Received From: Marcus Ahlin
Print or Image Color: White
Background / Bag Color: Navy
It's almost as if they used this bag as the base prototype for Scandinavian Seaways.

Blue Scandinavia

Received From: Matthias Koch
Print or Image Color: White, Red, Yellow, Green
Background / Bag Color: Navy
Yet another beautiful bag of Scandinavian origin. Looks like planets in the solar system, but is more likely a helium atom whose outer valence level just couldn't keep that electron, and is probably producing light. Yes, I'm sure that's what the bag designers had in mind.

Blue Wings

Approximate Vintage: 2018
Received From: Wolfgang Lüthje
Print or Image Color: Blue
Background / Bag Color: White
Just 2 Blue Wings on the bottom facing each other.

Blue Wings AG

Approximate Vintage: 2007
Received From: Sebastian Schmitz
Print or Image Color: Blue
Background / Bag Color: White
Nice looking bag with clean design featuring a logo comprised of two hair follicles.

Bluebird Airways

Received From: Rainer Schwartz
Print or Image Color: Blue
Background / Bag Color: White
Cool Greek bag with a somewhat stylish BB logo that looks like hearts or clouds, but not birds. Featured text: IN THE EVENT OF SICKNESS PLEASE CALL CREW FOR ASSISTANCE.

BOAC (British Overseas Air Corporation)

Approximate Vintage: 1973
Received From: Robert Masumura
Print or Image Color: Blue, White
Background / Bag Color: Blue, White
I've wanted one of these for a long time, especially because my parents had some BOAC logo stuff from their trip to Israel in 1973, and 32 years later, I got one!

BOAC (British Overseas Air Corporation)

Approximate Vintage: 1970
Received From: Andrew Angel
Print or Image Color: Navy
Background / Bag Color: Green
The bottom of this bag is freakishly sturdy. It feels like there's a rigid piece of cardboard in there to ensure that no accidents tarnish the cabin. The design is very understated, and the BOAC branding is almost an afterthought.

Bolder Boulder

Approximate Vintage: 2018
Print or Image Color: Blue
Background / Bag Color: White
This great bag was printed up as a memento of a 10K race in Boulder, CO called "Bolder Boulder". It says, "I RAN MY GUTS OUT AT THE BB10K. WHAT DID YOU DO THIS MEMORIAL DAY?"

On the back it says "HOPE YOU'RE FEELING AS GOOD AS BOLD!"

Boliviana de Aviacion (BoA)

Approximate Vintage: 2012
Received From: Samantha Aeschbach
Print or Image Color: Navy
Background / Bag Color: White
Believe it or not, this bag did NOT originate from Bank of America. The logo is replete with rooster feathers, possibly because chickens run around the airports that service this airline.

Boliviana de Aviacion (BoA)

Approximate Vintage: 2016
Received From: Dan Shafto
Print or Image Color: Navy
Background / Bag Color: White
Believe it or not, this bag did NOT originate from Bank of America. The logo is replete with rooster feathers, possibly because chickens run around the airports that service this airline.

This bag is just like the 2012 version except this one has a sad face on it.

Boot Factor Five

Approximate Vintage: 1989
Received From: Carren Dorian
Print or Image Color: Blue
Background / Bag Color: White
This bag is an OFFICIAL Boot Factor Five Game Accessory. This tasteless gem displays 5 toilets. It came with a book called "The Complete Book of Beer Drinking Games (5th Anniversay Edition)". The bag is known as Boot Factor Five in honor of the 5th anniversary. The drinking games rated Boot Factor Five mean that throwing up is imminent and therefore, the barf bag was included in this book.

By the way, you can order all sorts of Boot Factor Five accessories, such as more barf bags at the low, low price of $15 for 50 (in 1989 anyway). Although I have no idea if they're still in operation, they tell you to send the money to

Bouraq Airlines

Received From: Mike Roselle
Print or Image Color: White and Green
Background / Bag Color: White
I'm not sure which Bouraq came first, but while the other one simply says 'Bouraq' this one says 'Bouraq Airlines', alleviating confusion with Bouraq Trucking Company or Bouraq Ferry service.

Bouraq Airlines

Received From: Paul Mundy
Print or Image Color: White and Green
Background / Bag Color: White
Take a medieval Griffin looking raptor, poorly Escher it out of an abstract Earth, and you've got Bouraq!
