OK, Bag Monster is a moronic name, but Monster has become a catch-all phrase for "Hey, this will help you do something" This section will help you find the bags you're looking for (like you're really looking for them). Leaving everything blank will retrieve a list of all bags, however that may cause the page to load slowly.

EL AL

Approximate Vintage: 1988
Received From: Shiri Gutman
Background / Bag Color: Tan
Although the scan of this looks like a big tan block, the gusset actually has the name and logo of El Al. Sorry, I don't know how to scan this.

EL AL

Received From: Ralph Riffenburgh
Print or Image Color: White
Background / Bag Color: Peach
Very light from age perhaps, so they wrote EL AL 5 times with an italicized Israeli flag.

EL AL

Approximate Vintage: 1997
Received From: Liz Annenberg
Print or Image Color: Green and White
Background / Bag Color: Navy
I used to have my screen settings of blue on green. It drove my eyes crazy, just like this bag does.

EL AL

Approximate Vintage: 1997
Received From: Noa Miller
Print or Image Color: Green and White
Background / Bag Color: Navy
I used to have my screen settings of blue on green. It drove my eyes crazy, just like this bag does. Same as other bag except has a serrated, toothed top.

One other thing to notice is the French. There is an extra 'E' on this bag between LIQUIDES and ET.

EL AL

Approximate Vintage: 2000
Received From: Itamar Rotlevi
Print or Image Color: Navy and Teal
Background / Bag Color: White

EL AL

Approximate Vintage: 2009
Received From: David Shomper
Print or Image Color: White
Background / Bag Color: Navy
Beautiful leaves that appear to have been designed with a CAD program grace this bag.

EL AL

Approximate Vintage: 2005
Received From: Dave Murray
Print or Image Color: Navy and Teal
Background / Bag Color: White
This is identical to the 2000 version except the bag is the same on both sides. On the former version EL AL reads from top left to bottom right on the front, and bottom left to top right on the back. This bag reads from top left to bottom right on both sides.

El Al

Approximate Vintage: 2014
Received From: Petr Manda
Print or Image Color: Blue
Background / Bag Color: White
Nice vines grow around the outside of this bag. I wish I could tell you what the Hebrew says, but they left off the vowels.

EL AL

Approximate Vintage: 1997
Received From: Moshe Feldman
Print or Image Color: Green and White
Background / Bag Color: Navy
I used to have my screen settings of blue on green. It drove my eyes crazy, just like this bag does. Same as other bag except has a serrated, toothed top.

One other thing to notice is the French. There is NOT an extra 'E' on this bag between LIQUIDES and ET, as there is on the other serrated bag.

It's all about the details!

ELAG Generic

Received From: David Goldberg
Print or Image Color: Blue
Background / Bag Color: White
With all the many bags ELAG manufactures, there was bound to be a generic sporting only their name, but it took me until I had 1000 bags to find one.

Elizabeth Warren (Dump)

Approximate Vintage: 2018
Received From: Bruce Kelly
Print or Image Color: Green
Background / Bag Color: White Plastic
It took me over a year to get one of these because I refused to pay for the bag, which means I did not want to make a donation to Ms. Warren's opponent who wanted to "deal her out" in the 2018 election. She is a Senator for Massachusetts and I voted for her and strongly support her.

Still, it's a barf bag and I was able to trade for it. Despite the bag, she won in a landslide. The bag says

Dump Elizabeth Warren
Are you SICK of Elizabeth Warren yet
Elizabeth Warren complains about the cost of college education but accepts $350,000 to teach one class.
Elizabeth Warren accepted an interest free housing loan from Harvard.
Elizabeth Warren has spent more time selling books than helping the people of Massachusetts.
Elizabeth Warren rants for equal pay but only pays women in her office 71% of what she pays men.
www.DealHerOut.com
PAID FOR BY DUMP ELIZABETH WARREN, A PROJECT OF DEAL HER OUT PAC, NOT AUTHORIZED BY ANY CANDIDATE OR CANDIDATE'S COMMITTEE.

Ellinair

Approximate Vintage: 2017
Received From: Wolfgang Lüthje
Print or Image Color: Blue, Gray
Background / Bag Color: White
I sent a scan of this to my good friend (and author) Abby Ellin, who subsequently posted the scan on Facebook saying "This is the airline my great, great grandfather Mordechai Yellenovich started in the 1850s before emigrating to America".

People of course said "Really?" completely missing the fact that there were no airlines in the 19th century.

Elvira in 3-D!

Received From: David Kraus
Print or Image Color: Black
Background / Bag Color: Tan
This bag seems to have been released by either Elvira, Channel 9 (who knows where), or 7-Eleven stores. Ostensibly, Elvira was being broadcasting the 1954 smash hit (?) "The Mad Magician" in 3-D. The bag is so evanescent, it urges you to tune in 4 PM Sunday, May 23, but who knows what year or what region of the country?

Emirates

Approximate Vintage: 1998
Received From: Andy Rudge
Print or Image Color: Gold
Background / Bag Color: Tan
This bag has that Casablanca type mystique, trying to capture gaudy, but not too overstated culture on an Air Sickness Bag.

Emirates

Approximate Vintage: 1998
Received From: Brian Stevens
Print or Image Color: Gold
Background / Bag Color: Tan
Same as other Emirates bag, except has ELAG bottom. This bag has that Casablanca type mystique, trying to capture gaudy, but not too overstated culture on an Air Sickness Bag.

Emirates

Received From: Paul Mundy
Print or Image Color: Brown
Background / Bag Color: Tan
Hey, Kilroy is back! Notice that they guy on the bag probably isn't Arabic because he has only 1 hair. This character joins the Barf Bag character hall of fame alongside KLM's Dusty and TWA's doggie.

Emirates

Kilroy is still with us, but now he's accompanies by a web site. Furthermore, the bag is no longer manufactured by ELAG, but rather by Nivagold in Thailand.

Kilroy is still with us, but now he's accompanies by a web site. Furthermore, the bag is no longer manufactured by ELAG, or Nivagold in Thailand, as the bottom of the bag is blank.

Kilroy is gone, but the web site remains. Instructions in English, Arabic, and Icons.

Baggist Extraordinaire, David Shomper notes that this bag says "Solid Litter Only" and "No Liquids", which would seem to obviate puking in the sack.

Emirates

Approximate Vintage: 2014
Received From: Marc de Kort
Print or Image Color: White, Gray
Background / Bag Color: Gray
Emirates goes to pictograms but in a brilliant move, also includes text just in case someone can't figure out what a picture of cans and bottles with a check-mark next to them is supposed to mean.

Also, the front is in Arabic, not English which I guess means that there are now actual people from the UAE who fly.
