OK, Bag Monster is a moronic name, but Monster has become a catch-all phrase for "Hey, this will help you do something" This section will help you find the bags you're looking for (like you're really looking for them). Leaving everything blank will retrieve a list of all bags, however that may cause the page to load slowly.

Thai Airways

Approximate Vintage: 2004
Received From: Gilles Beger
Print or Image Color: Purple
Background / Bag Color: Purple and White
Another collector-friendly bag from Thai. It's exactly the same as the 2001, 2003 and 2004 offerings, except the bottom now says, "Thailand 1-2005". It's signed and dated!

Thai Airways

Thai updates its logo to a more clean and modernistic design. The inseam says VORAPAN PACKING CO. LTD. Made in Thailand Mar 2006.

Thai Airways

Approximate Vintage: 2011
Received From: David Shomper
Print or Image Color: Purple
Background / Bag Color: White, Purple
Similar to the previous version except now Thai is somehow "Smooth as silk", whatever that's supposed to mean.

Inside the fold of the bag it says ""Y.N.S. MARKETING CO. LTD. May 2011" which is a great reference for us collectors.

Thai Airways

Approximate Vintage: 2006
Received From: Denir Camargo
Print or Image Color: Purple

Thai updates its logo to a more clean and modernistic design. The inseam says VORAPAN PACKING CO. LTD. Made in Thailand Aug 2006.

Thai Airways

Approximate Vintage: 2007
Received From: Denir Camargo
Print or Image Color: Purple
Background / Bag Color: Purple and White
Thai updates its logo to a more clean and modernistic design. Now that it's no longer 2006, Thai changes their bag manufacturer as the inseam says "Y.N.S. MARKETING Made in Thailand March 2007"

Thai Airways

Approximate Vintage: 1970
Received From: Andrew Angel
Print or Image Color: Blue
Background / Bag Color: White
Very old Thai bag that says "Thai Airways CO. LTD." as well as "FOR AIR-SICKNESS" and "PLEASE FOLD". It also says "FORM T/S 26-09", which when you Google suggests a page from the Idaho State Tax Commission.

Thai Airways

Approximate Vintage: 2011
Received From: Andrew Angel
Print or Image Color: Purple
Background / Bag Color: White, Purple
Similar to the previous version except now Thai is somehow "Smooth as silk", whatever that's supposed to mean.

Inside the fold of the bag it says ""Y.N.S. MARKETING CO. LTD. December 2011" which is a great reference for us collectors as the previous incantation was from May 2011. Why they changed it I can't say (people just liked it better that way?)

Thai Airways

Approximate Vintage: 2015
Received From: Gerd Clemens
Print or Image Color: Purple
Background / Bag Color: White
Thai goes back to minimalism with this uninspired offering.

Thai Airways

Received From: Michael Hall
Print or Image Color: Purple
Background / Bag Color: White
Thai departs from its busy design to usher in a clean big logo, which is used as the basis for future bags. This is supposedly from the 70's, but can someone confirm? This is identical to the other similar bags, except the bottom says it was manufactured by ELAG

Thai Airways

Received From: Wolfgang Lüthje
Print or Image Color: Purple
Background / Bag Color: White
Thai changes their logo to retro raster graphics. And their motto is now "Smooth as silk"

Thai Airways International

Approximate Vintage: 1969
Received From: Andrew Angel
Print or Image Color: Blue
Background / Bag Color: White
Amazing old bag with a cloud and a basketball logo containing a two-armed Ganesha. I would be honored to throw up in this bag.

Thai Sky Airlines

Received From: Bruce Kelly
Print or Image Color: Purple
Background / Bag Color: White
Based on the cool logo, Thai Sky is the airline formerly known as Prince.

Thai Smile

Approximate Vintage: 2015
Received From: Mark Cheetham
Print or Image Color: Orange
Background / Bag Color: White
Even though this bag is ostensibly Thai, it has the British "Keep Calm and Smile" with a Get Well Soon and British Crown on it. According to Mark who generously donated the bag, 'There did not seem to be [bags] in every seat (just the "smile plus" or business seats).'

So I guess only rich passengers can stay tidy when they puke.

Thai Smile

Approximate Vintage: 2017
Received From: Frank Mulliri
Print or Image Color: Orange, Navy, Yellow
Background / Bag Color: White
Even though this bag is ostensibly Thai, it has the American Cartoon Network character 'Jake the Dog" on it. I'm not sure what strategic alliance between CN and Thai Smile is, but I do like the crossover. The bag also says 'Amazone', which I have no idea what it means.

The Blood Trilogy

Approximate Vintage: 2015
Print or Image Color: Red
Background / Bag Color: White
Cool bag that's an amalgamation of 3 prior gory movies, "Blood Feast", "Two Thousand Maniacs" and "Color Me Blood Red". The bag says the following:
50TH ANNIVERSARY VOMIT BAG!
THE BLOOD TRILOGY
TODAY!
Come at YOUR OWN RISK!!
CAN YOU TAKE IT???
BLOOD FEAST
TWO THOUSAND MANIACS!
HOLD ON TO YOUR NERVES
The Bloodiest Goriest Pictures You Have Ever Seen!
MORE GRISLY THAN EVER IN BLOOD COLOR
COLOR ME BLOOD RED
PRODUCED BY DAVID F. FRIEDMAN
DIRECTED BY HERSCHELL GORDON LEWIS "THE GODFATHER OF GORE!"

The Boston T

Approximate Vintage: 1984
Print or Image Color: Red
Background / Bag Color: White
Back in 1984, a budding entrepreneur put out a package called "I hate the T" (Boston's subway system). This bag is just one of about 10 articles that came with the package.

The Boz

Approximate Vintage: 1990
Received From: Shirley Halverson
Print or Image Color: Blue
Background / Bag Color: White and Brown
I paid $10 for this. I actually met the Boz (Brian Bozworth) in 1988 when the Seahawks were on strike and he came into the gym to work out. I moved away from Seattle by the time this gem came out.

The Duke Makes Us Puke

Approximate Vintage: 1988
Print or Image Color: Red and Blue
Background / Bag Color: White
This bag is New Hampshire's contribution to the 1988 Republican National Convention in New Orleans. The Duke refers, of course, to Mike Dukakis (who I voted for by the way). Any guy who takes the T to work is OK with me. Side note: You don't often see the outline of the state of New Hampshire without some combination of Vermont and Maine.

The Eastern Bus

Received From: Christian Annyas
Print or Image Color: Blue
Background / Bag Color: White
This bag is composed of mylar, which really distinguishes it as a quality product. If they have a bunch of extra bags they need to get rid of, they might be able to sell them to the Circle K convenience store chain. Sorry for the see-through, but I couldn't slip anything inside without breaking the red seal.

According to Chinese Translator, Y.L. Tan, The words around the top of the Circle-K logo say "Only the comforts of home, none of the hardships of travel".
