U-Land

Mighty unfortunate name for an airline. Who would name an airline U-Land? Or U-Fly? Or U-Repair? (Hint: the Chinese) I can only conclude that U-Land is a translation gone bad. I'm surprised the bag doesn't say "Please to barf in this clean bag". Cool cursive writing and double carrick bend-like logo.

Chinese expert, Y.L. Tan says: The Chinese name is "rui lian", roughly translated "auspicious connection/link". I hate to say it, but as unfortunate a name as U-Land is, it's far better than "Auspicious connection or link" would be.

I can't tell whether this pre-dates the other Ukraine International bag or not, but I'm guessing it's newer as it has gone monochrome and dropped the yellow. They also did away with upper/lower case distinctions and added more pointless scribbles in the circle.

An amazingly well-done bag because the red lettering is raised. Very fancy!

Ultra Trash apparently produces and releases many gore movies such as 'Death By Machete' and others nobody has ever heard of. They pass these bags out to audiences. The text of the bag reads:

It sounds like this airline was named by an administrative-type who heard an executive hesitate on the phone when s/he said "Um" before saying Air. Very large, very white bag with no closing mechanism and no bottom to stand on.

As far as I can tell, this is the "missing link" bag between the lighter blue United bags of the early 80s and the gray United bags of the 90s. I've never seen another printed on such a dark blue.
